Students may enroll in the Information Technology minor as early as their sophomore year with a cumulative grade point average of 2.5.

Only 18 hours required; nine hours of ITEC minor core courses and nine hours chosen from a broad range of 300-400 level electives. A 2.5 average GPA or better must be maintained in core and elective courses for the minor to be awarded.

• Can I start taking courses towards this minor in my junior year?
  Yes, you need to complete 18 hours for the minor. It is best if you start in your sophomore year but you can start later as long as you finished the required 18 hours.
• Where do I signup for this minor?
  Sign up for the minor with your academic advisor. He or she will then notify Records and Registration.
• What does my GPA need to be?
  To be enrolled you need to have a cumulative grade point average of 2.5 and an average GPA of 2.5 or better must be maintained in core and elective courses for the minor to be awarded.
